Chief Operations Officer

Dana Knoll considers herself an Administrative Engineer and currently serves as the Chief Operations Officer for the YWCA-SGV.  She graduated from Redlands University with both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Business Administration and completed a postgraduate fellowship in community and public health at Johns Hopkins University of Medicine and Science.

After working for 27 years in the non-profit arena at the Watts Health Center in South Los Angeles, she retired from her position as Vice President of Operations in 2022 and quickly realized retirement was not for her.  She found her way to the YWCA-SGV and felt right at home overseeing the Programs, Human Resources, Facilities and Information Technology Departments.  She also focuses on compliance, policies, procedures, and risk management.  March 14, 2023, marked her one-year anniversary with the YWCA-SGV and she considers it a n honor to work with a dynamic, woman-lead executive team supported by a workforce committed to serving the community.
