Thank you for your interest in attending YWCA of San Gabriel Valley x SCE Federal Credit Union’s Financial Literacy 5-Week Workshop Curriculum through the Wellness, Equity, and Empowerment Center. These workshops will be facilitated by Rick from SCE CU in-person at YWCA-SGV’s Headquarters (101 South Barranca Ave., Covina, CA 91723).
For each class you attend, you will be added to an opportunity drawing for a gift basket, sponsored by SCE Credit Union. If you attend all 5 workshops, you will receive a Certificate of Completion, a gift card from YWCA-SGV, and a higher chance of receiving a gift basket.

Rick’s bio:
“With over 25 years of experience in the banking industry, his knowledge, energy, and his own personal experiences are a huge asset to the Credit Union’s efforts to teach adults about proper basic money management. His reasons for his line of work hit close to home for him. “Growing up, I never had a good understanding of proper money management, so naturally I made mistakes that took a lot of time and money to fix,” he says. “If I can help at least one person avoid those same mistakes, it’s worth my time. That’s what motivates me to help.”
