Government grants, contracts, private foundations, volunteers, and a myriad of community partners are essential to our sustainability and standing strong as a vital resource for the SGV region. Over the last 5 years the YWCA-SGV has invested a significant amount of resources to develop multi-sector collaborations within the San Gabriel Valley to engage, empower, and build healthier communities by promoting health equity and violence prevention. We work with other multi-sector partners like law enforcement and specific cities within SGV. These partnerships are committed to achieving broad social and system change at a population scale. By working as a collective, we are able to explore regional intervention, prevention and policy strategies.
