Mission: To eliminate racism, empower women, and promote peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all.

Volunteerism is the voice of the people put into action. These actions shape and mold the present into a future of which we can all be proud. - Helen Dyer

Donating your time is just as valuable as donating your money. At the YWCA San Gabriel Valley, we depend on volunteers to provide services and assistance for a number of programs. Without their hard work, dedication and generosity of spirit, we wouldn’t be able to provide the high quality programs that we do.

Volunteers at the YWCA San Gabriel Valley commit their time to projects and services on which they like to work. Whether it’s helping to check on a homebound senior citizen or interning with the staff of our domestic violence shelter, all volunteers walk away from our programs knowing that they made a very real difference in the lives of people in their own community.

Become a volunteer today! The YWCA San Gabriel Valley is currently seeking dedicated individuals from ages 16 and up to help with Intervale Senior Services, YWCA-WINGS (Women in Need Growing Strong), classes, special events, fundraising and clerical services.

If you would like to volunteer, please fill out the volunteer application form and mail, fax, or email it back to the YWCA SGV. For more information call us at (626) 960-2995 or email us at Volunteer@ywcasgv.org.
