Need to know where to go for Health and Human Services Programs?

RESOURCES FOR PEOPLE AGE 50+
YWCA San Gabriel Valley and Women at Work, have partnered to provide a variety of effective resource options for people age 50+ to help secure employment and financial stability.
Employment Assistance - An exclusive focus on the "Experienced' customer group.
| - | Jobseekers are introduced to modern job search and self-marketing tools. They are provided the motivation which stems from a peer support environment and receives one-on-one support from Career Counselors. |
| - | Attend a comfortable environment at the Job Club. Meet and exchange information, find opportunities, network with people in your same situation and share experiences. |
| - | Become job ready, learn and practice successful interview techniques. |
| - | Take advantage of the Resource Center, computer classes and workshops. |
Health and Human Services Programs.
| - | There is help available for those with lower incomes. If you have limited income and assets, you may qualify for help. |
| - | This program will provide you with information to manage critical issues through multi-lingual community education and service programs in the San Gabriel and Pomona Valleys |
| - | Don't hesitate to apply for help. Less than half of those who qualify for government assistance actually sign up. | - | Attend a comfortable environment at the Job Club.
